What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead our cross-platform marketing strategy — from organic social to paid acquisition
- Build buzz and drive viral engagement across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, LinkedIn, and podcast platforms
- Pitch and secure high-profile media placements and brand collaborations
- Shape compelling brand narratives across channels, ensuring alignment with Sharon’s mission and voice
- Identify opportunities to grow and deepen audience trust, engagement, and reach
Who You Are
- A strategic thinker and hands-on executor with 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3 or more years in a leadership role
- Fluent in the influencer economy and modern digital media ecosystems
- Expert in audience growth and engagement strategies across social, email, and paid media
- Deeply networked: you’ve pitched and booked major media hits and know how to generate buzz
- Adaptable, collaborative, and energized by a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
- Familiar with (and already a fan of) Sharon McMahon and her work
Bonus Points For
- Experience in book publishing, podcast marketing, or creator/influencer campaigns
- A background in media, politics, education, or nonprofit communications
- Data fluency: you understand attribution, analytics, and what drives conversions
The Details
- Full-time, remote position (U.S.-based, Eastern time zone hours)
- Competitive salary range: $150,000–$200,000
- Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) match
- Evening and weekend work will occasionally be required—this is not a freelance or flexible-hours role
